Security Groups

Security Groups allow you to set up categories for groups of personnel with similar job descriptions, who require access to the same program functions. The Break Point screen for each Security Group generated allows you to pick and choose which areas (menus, features, reports) that the Security Group will have access to. For example, the Sales Manager Group will need access to all of the Selling Tools, files, and bookings, but probably would not need access to Maintenance.

User Classes may include Managers, Reservation Clerks, Assistants, Directors, Supervisors, etc.  

System Administrator is a default user in the system that will give access to everything in the system.

It is NOT necessary to create a separate security group for each job title, merely one for each “level” of access a User group requires.

Note: Skyware security groups can now be restricted to accessing Skyware via specific IP Addresses, if desired. (Please call our support line at 877-759-9329 (SKY-WEB9), or email us at Support@SkywareSystems.com for further details).
